Every BEDEV product starts with a problem the industry has underprioritized and results in a device designed to improve clinical outcomes.

Pre-clinical Testing

ParaHealth Device

A Reusable Catheter Stabilization System
Peripheral intravenous catheters are used in the majority of hospital admissions worldwide. Current fixation relies on gauze or adhesive, the same approach used across every hospital, in every country. Published studies report failure rates between 35% and 50%, resulting in repeated procedures, infection risk, and increased cost. According to NIH studies, a third of total hospital PIVC expenditure goes toward materials from failed insertions. ParaHealth was designed to change that.
The ParaHealth Device is a reusable, modular catheter stabilization system engineered to reduce PIVC failure rates and improve catheter security. Adaptable to any catheter size, needle, or body part, it is designed for sterilization and reuse under standard hospital protocols, with individual components replaceable if damaged or worn. The result is improved catheter stability, reduced staff workload, and lower material waste. The device is being developed for CE Mark certification under EU MDR and FDA clearance pathways.
